LOS ANGELES, January 7 – It’s the first “Sólo Boxeo Tecate” event of the New Year, and fight fans in Fairfield, Calif. have kicked off 2011 by making tonight’s hard-hitting card at the Sports Center a sell-out. The red-hot, seven-bout card is headlined by unbeaten rising star Brandon Gonzales against fellow prospect Lester “El Cubanito” Gonzalez in an eight-round super middleweight fight and an eight round welterweight bout between Fairfield’s Alan Sanchez and Los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico veteran Cristian Favela.
